Outdoor Education

We provide training in canoeing and kayaking, climbing and mountaineering, orienteering, sailing, dragon boating, archery and many more adventurous activities. We also deliver teambuilding activities and residential courses both in the UK and abroad. Summer camps and adventure weekends are also available. We work with a wide range of clients including schools, pupil referral units, disenfranchised youth, Princes Trust XL program, colleges, public services courses, career companies and enrichment programmes to promote and enhance school sport outdoor and adventurous activities. Dynamic Adventures are passionate that adventurous activities and outdoor education make a real difference to every child and therefore fully support youth programmes.

Youth Programmes and Alternative Curriculum

Of the areas Dynamic Adventures work in, we are particularly proud of our involvement with various schools’ xl youth programmes. These form part of the work of the Prince’s Trust charity, whose stated aim is to ‘offer practical solutions to help young people get their lives working’. Through activity adventure outdoors, such as climbing and mountaineering and canoeing and kayaking, and adventure weekends we are able to offer alternative curriculum help to children who, for whatever reason, are struggling with school. For more information on how your school can set up an xl youth programme and consequently enhance your school sport outdoors and adventurous activities, visit the Prince’s Trust website:

Public (Uniformed) Services and Enrichment Programme

We currently work with various colleges, helping with their Public Services courses and their Enrichment Programmes. This can take the form of Key Skills work, such as developing leadership skills and problem solving, team building activities on weekly activity days, adventure weekends, residential courses, summer camps and school expeditions in wild country or trips abroad. With public services, strong emphasis is placed on the skills the students will need when they enter the workplace. Amongst others, team work, leadership skills, problem solving, personal organisation, fitness, and discipline are all covered.

Residential Courses for Schools

Dynamic Adventures organise residential courses and multi-activity experiences for schools and colleges. Groups range from 15 to 150 based at various locations throughout the UK and Europe. Either under canvas or in dormitory accommodation, each programme is tailor made to you and your students’ requirements, typically 2-7 days.

Our residential courses are comprehensive packages, which generate lots of opportunities to gather evidence for all of the key skills, especially the wider key skills. The residential experience in particular can generate many different types of evidence from communication skills to working with others to numeracy skills.

The courses are tailor made for your organisational and individual needs. We can supply assessors; video, photographic, audio and expert witness testimony; group work; and written evidence. We can arrange all aspects of the experience from accommodation to all the adventurous activities to work books. All of our courses are of a highly practical nature, which replicate real work place situations.

Adventure Gap Tours

Dynamic Adventures also aims to develop students’ outdoor education beyond school and college by providing exciting adventure gap tours. Through activity adventure outdoors, we offer stimulating challenges, exciting foreign expeditions, such as school expeditions, and outdoor qualifications.
