THE LYCHEE SCHEME

The Dynamic Adventures Trainee Instructor Scheme is a brand new, exciting programme aimed at anyone with a passion for the outdoors and limitless enthusiasm to develop personally whilst inspiring others. During the scheme, which is perfect for a challenging and rewarding gap year experience, trainee instructors will have the opportunity to acquire and advance their techniques, leadership and understanding of outdoor activities. Above all, the trainees - and the scheme itself - will be…
Safe - In any outdoor activity the safety of all involved is paramount. During the trainee instructor scheme you will learn techniques to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in a range of different situations.
Fun - Any trainee instructor will clearly show a passion for outdoors and each day will present fresh, fun challenges. The dynamic diversity of the programme offers exciting experiences in a variety of stunning locations.
Flexible - Outdoor instructors need to be able to think on their feet. Trainees will learn the skills required to construct a successful session independently, making responsible decisions in view of the group and the activity. The trainee instructor scheme itself is flexible and tailored to suit each individual trainee, taking into account their interests, goals and previous experience.
Inspiring - “What lies beyond us and what lies behind us is nothing compared to what lies within us” Sir Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every trainee instructor is different. Dynamic Adventures recognises this and the scheme is therefore adapted so that each individual finds the programme as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. Each trainee will have a personal calendar, which will include information on all their locations, expeditions and training throughout the course and will be tailored to their individual needs and previous experience.
Alongside one-to-one training with highly experienced Dynamic staff, the scheme will cover wide-ranging National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications including:
- Level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership (formerly known as BELA)
- Adventure First Aid
- Kayak 1*/2*/3*, working towards level 2 coach
- Open Canoe 1*/2*/3*, working towards level 2 coach

The programme will also provide amazing opportunities for travel and adventure across the UK and a multitude of international experience through regular, exciting trips to areas such as Iceland, Slovenia, Corsica, Switzerland, Peru and many more.
Regular contact with the company directors ensures that trainees maintain their enthusiasm and continually develop into a safe, fun, flexible and inspiring outdoor instructor.
