Outdoor Adventurous Activities and Climbing in North Wales

Climbing in North Wales provides some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the UK, with Snowdonia National Park at its heart. Making north Wales it an ideal location for a wide variety of outdoor activities.

Snowdonia has it all, extensive mountains suitable for multi day expeditions such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Award, as well as training for new mountain leaders. The rock climbing in north wales is arguably the best in the country from beginner to the most advanced mountian climber there is no short supply of great outdoor climbing locations.

Dave Parkinson of Dynamic Adventures (Welsh born and breed), lives and works in the area, and has developed a great knowledge, not just of the popular locations to go to, but also the quite and hidden corners of North Wales. He also works with some of the country’s finest outdoor instructors to provide great variety and depth of knowledge.

The rivers also provide great adventure, which is at the heart of the Dynamic Adventures ethos as an adventure company. Also in the area, we run Ghyll scrambling, sailing and canoeing.

Apart from sending groups from other areas to North Wales to take full advantage of this great outdoor activity adventure playground, we interact with many local schools and colleges to teach them to use and respect the natural environment.
