London to Mont Blanc - Charity Cycle Ride

Dynamic Adventures have invited a team of 6 people to cycle this gruelling distance to Chamonix in France. They started their training in December 2010 and it is hoped they will complete the challenge in 8-10 days, depending on the weather and how exhausted they get.
The main reason for this challenge is to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

The target for the team is to raise a minimum of £10,000 and we are planning a number of activities to raise the money. We would much appreciate all donations and pledges for this great cause.

The Route 672 miles

We will start at the London Eye (great location for photos) and cycle the first leg to Dover, and then onto a ferry to France. Over the next 7 days we aim to cycle between 80-100 miles each day until we arrive at Chamonix and the statue of Horace Bendicte de Saussure, who, in 1760, offered a "substantial" cash prize to the first person to reach the summit of Mont Blanc.

Mountain Bike hire in Tilgate Park Crawley & surrounding areas.

Dynamic Adventures has a fleet of Mountain Bikesa for hire, to be used in the Tilgate Park and surrounding areas. Claude Bulter Trailridge bikes, 14", 18", 20" and 22" frame sizes available.
Prices are £10.00 for 2 hours, £15.00 for 4 hours and £25.00 for 6 hours. A deposit is required and photo identification is needed to collect the hired bike.

SURREY HILLS SAFARI - Get back to nature.

Dynamic Adventures in co-operation with the Surrey Hills AONB (Area of Outsatnding Natural Beauty)have put together a outdoor weekend in the Surrey Hills area, allowing you to arrive and depart by public transport and working with local businesses to provide a weekend to remember.

On Saturday start from Godalming and spend a day on the Wey Navigation in open canoes paddling down stream to finish at Cartbridge. Then a short journey to set up camp for the night outside Guildford (if required we can arrange local B&B / hotel at extra cost).

Sunaday go for a mountain bike ride in the fantastic Surrey Hills, finishing at Newlands Corner.

Weekends available in 2011 - 18-19 June, 16-17 July, 6-7 August and 13-14 August.

Price for the weekend to include food & specialist equipment is £195.00 + vat per person.

Dynamic Adventures Cycling Club - Next sessions 17th September

Dynamic Adventures Cycling Club is a Go-Ride club in association with British Cycling (www.britishcycling.org.uk) supported by sky.

In partnership with the Crawley Wellbeing team we will be running a Saturday morning cycling club, running 2 sessions every other Saturday soon.
Timings
09.00 to 10.30 for beginers to learn the basics of riding.
11.00 to 12.30 for a mountain bike riding session through Tilgate Park and the surrounding area.

Dates - 11th & 25th June, 9th & 23rd July, 6th & 20th August, 3rd & 17th September, 1st 15th & 29th October, 12th & 16th November and 10th December.

Cost - £4.00 with own bike or £6.00 to hire a bike, must be booked in advance.

Dynamic Adventures moves to Crawley

Dynamic Adventures has moved its South East office location to Hut 13 Tilgate Recreation Centre, Tilgate Drive, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 5PH. From its new office we are able to offer kayaking, canoeing,orienteering, sailing, mountain biking (guided rides & bike hire), navigation training and guided walks, all in Tilgate Park and the surrounding areas.
Payments accepted by credit / debit card now.
Also from our new offices we are able to run First Aid courses plus the Dynamic Therapy treatments.

First Aid Training

Dynamic Adventures is able to offer 4 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour courses, plus the 3 day Health & Safety at Work with updates avaiable. We can also offer 6 hour & 12 hour Pediatric Courses.

The course can be run at your work place or at our offfice at Tilgate Recreation Centre. They are designed to be first of all FUN and INFORMATIVE.

BEL Sports Leaders UK, Level 3 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership (what was known as the Bela qualification).

Based in three exciting locations - North Downs, Forest of Dean and Exmoor . As well as courses that can be run in North Wales. Dynamic Adventures run high quality and enjoyable courses THAT ALWAYS RUN. The BEL allows leaders to lead groups in lowland countryside, ideal for the Bronze & Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition section.
